Barracks Arch

Perth, Western Australia, Australia

Built in Perth in 1863 the barracks were built to house Enrolled pensioner Guards and their families who protected the public against convicts. Although much of the barracks were demolished in the 1960’s the freestanding Arch remains and is worthy of a look to remember our early history. Located at the corner of Malcolm and Elder Streets, Perth.
