Beto Carrero World, in Brazil, is the largest theme park in the Southern Hemishphere, with some 150 attractions. It is another theme park that follows the formula of combining amusement rides with zoological exhibits.
The first section of the park that you will explore upon entrance is Nations Avenue, wherein lies Acqua, one of the park’s more popular shows. This show simulates a shipwreck, on various parts of which the performers display their skills in dancing, juggling and aerial artistry. Also in this section is a carousel, a ferris wheel and various dining options. There is also a motion simulator ride.
Radical Adventure is another section in the park, in which you will indeed have a radical adventure! This is especially true if you choose to ride an attraction simply called Big Tower. This is a 100 metre (393.7 feet) freefall that reaches top speeds over over 120 kmph (74 mph). Also in this section is the Castle of Terror. You have to pay for separate admission for this attraction, but if you are looking to get scared, you cannot go wrong here!
