BonBon Land

Holme-Olstrup, Denmark

Denmark’s BonBon Land, unlike some other amusement parks, is focused mainly on experiences that the whole family can enjoy. One example of such an attraction is the Crow Trees. Two side-by-side towers are ascended by riders who are then dropped and bounced back up, but not too far and not too fast. It is thrilling enough to be fun, but mild enough to not be too scary for even the youngest members of your party.

One slightly more thrilling ride is called the Svend Svingarm. On this one, riders are swung back and forth and spun around and around at the same time. This ride is just one example of how the formula for this park has evolved over the years.

To get a bird’s eye view of all the progress that has been made, you can take a ride on what, in English, translates as Seagull Droppings! It is actually a lot more fun than it sounds. They are giant carts that travel above the park along elevated rails. You can wave to passers-by and check out what you wish do later in the day.
