Buttermilk is a lovely area specifically designed mostly for beginner level skiers. They do have a super pipe and loads of rails to enjoy. My sons had a wonderful time boarding at Buttermilk. There were many families watching their little ones during ski lessons. This is a lovely place even for adult beginners. They have many runs, almost fifty. Most are dedicated to beginners and snowboards. This is the only area that I have come across in my many years of skiing that was created mainly for beginners and snowboarders.
