Camel Trail

Padstow, Cornwall, United Kingdom

User Rating     : 5 out of 5

The Camel Trail is an 18-mile long, multi-use route for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. Based on an historic railway route, the trail weaves along the beautiful Cornish countryside between Padstow and Bodmin. Along the way, users (who don’t have to be Lance Armstrong to cycle it) are treated to magnificent views, lush woodland and the splendid granite landscape of Bodmin Moor. Reviewer: Paul Bingley

This is a lovely bike/walking trail, not too taxing or strenuous, perfect for a summers day out. We travelled the trail on our bikes with the dogs running by the side, they had a whale of a time, and so did we!

This is a fantastic walk or cycle. We hired bikes in Padstow and went the whole way and a little bit further to find a pub for lunch. On the way back stopped for afternoon tea in Wadebridge. Topped the day off in Rick Stein's restaurant. What can be better!
