Lake Como, Italy
This castle makes for a stunning lookout point over beautiful Lake Como. The attraction requires a hike uphill that can be somewhat strenuous, however the effort is worth the reward in this case as the historic castle, perched above the Lake makes for a great adventure, rewarding guests with an amazing historic lookout point. Guests will also rejoice in the fact that this isn’t a site overrun with other tourists and you may well find you have this gorgeous castle all to yourself depending on when you decide to go. This is a truly unique, authentic and fun way to see some history and take in some views while visiting Lake Como. During my stay here I went out with two other travelers and the castle provided us with an amazing setting for some gorgeous photos that I cherish to this day. A must see when visiting Lake Como, just don’t forget to bring your camera!
