Centreville, on the Toronto islands, started out as an amusement park geared primarily towards children. Since it opened, its scope has expanded considerably. Now, there are enough rides and attractions there to engage people of all ages. Admittedly, you are not going to find any white-knuckle, thrill rides here, but the rides they do have are great fun. In fact, the rides and attractions here are imaginative and interesting enough to keep guests coming back for more year after year. Not only that, the food is pretty good, too!
Generally, the rides tend towards playful variations on amusement park classics. For example, there is the Toronto Island Monster. Although this is a roller coaster, it is gentle enough to be enjoyed by most children, yet it strikes the perfect balance by being fun enough for the rest of the family as well.
Other rides represented here include sky lifts, bumper cars, a log flume and more. The scrambler ride is indoors and features an amazing light show!
