Classic Jets Fighter Museum

Adelaide, South Australia, Australia

The Classic Jets Fighter Museum is located 20 minutes to the north of Adelaide at Anderson Drive Parafield Airport. If you are a World War II history buff or an aviation fan, then this will make for a fascinating day out. There are plenty of former RAAF fighter jets and airplanes, which have seen active service throughout their time. Some of the planes that are on display include tiger moths, P38 Lockheed Lightning, P39 Airacobra, GAF Jindivik and many others. Many of the planes have been rescued and fully restored to their former glory. The museum is open seven days a week between 10am and 4pm. As well as inspecting the planes from the outside you can climb into the cockpit of many of them and get a feel for what it would have been like to be a real jet fighter.
