Copacabana Beach located in Rio de Janeiro is one of the more popular beaches in all of Brazil. Stretching along the sprawling city of Rio de Janeiro, Copacabana Beach has become a place that lures in millions of beachgoers annually. Beachside resorts stretch along the shores and when you are here, you are never far from something exciting.

The sister beach to the popular Ipanema beach, Copacabana is similar and yet not quite as lively which brings the more mature travelers here from the nearby resorts. In Recent years pollution has become somewhat of an issue and the beach has even closed, not allowing swimming for its guests while projects are put in place to clean the shores. Projects have been successful and tourism is in full swing at the beach located in the Southern Zone of the city of Rio de Janeiro.

The gorgeous shores of Copacabana Beach stay busy into the early morning hours with tourists and locals alike enjoying the soft slapping of the waves against the sandy shores. In a country with some of the best beaches in the world Copacabana beach is one of the very best and continues to be rated as one of the best beaches in the world.
