Dorney Park is in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It is one of the most popular theme parks on the east coast of the United States of America and has the region’s longest steel roller coaster, Steel Force. When you purchase admission to Dorney Park, you are also granted admittance to Wildwater Kingdom, a water park.
Steel Force can be described, without exaggeration, as a mega-coaster. One of the drops is over 62 metres (205 feet) and the speed reaches 120 kmph (75 mph). There are also some really steep banks on this ride, which takes three minutes to traverse its more than 1,526 metres (5,000 feet) of track.
When it comes to shows at Dorney Park, several of them tend to cater to the younger audience. Three in particular feature characters from the popular Peanuts comic strip. Charlie Brown’s Hoe Down is one, and Charlie Brown’s Jungle Journey is another. Snoopy’s Big Bow Wow is actually a very elaborate show staged entirely on ice.
For more mature audiences, there are a couple of dancing revues in the park as well.
