Efteling is in Kaatsheuvel, Netherlands, and is the largest theme park in that country. It started as a park for kids only, but now caters to both kids and adults.
One of the more unusual rides in this park is called Bobbaan, which is a bobsleigh run. The track has a maximum angle of 80 degrees and it takes two minutes and ten seconds to reach the bottom.
Another ride at Efteling is called Dream Flight, which is a dark ride on which you are whisked through a mystical world of fairies, elves and fauns. It is one of the most popular rides in the park.
Raveleijn is the name of a spectacular, new show in this park that chronicles the tale of five children who become knights. This 20 minute show takes place five or six times a day and it features real horses and ravens. You have to get a free ticket to the show from the square or one of the park’s hotels. It is not recommended that you allow children under six years of age to attend this show, as it contains elements which they may find frightening.
