Manila, Philippines
Enchanted Kingdom is located in Santa Rosa City, near Manila, in the Philippines. First opened in 1995, this park was modelled after Knotts Berry Farm in California. Enchanted Kingdom is divided into seven regions, and there is also an inflatable water park which goes by the name EK Biki Waterworld.
Children will certainly enjoy the Boulderville area, which has a prehistoric theme. Dinosaurs are the main characters in Boulderville and there are numerous kiddies’ rides. The Midway Boardwalk is an area done in the Coney Island theme park style, with performances by mimes, jugglers and clowns.
One of Enchanted Kingdom’s largest rides is located in the Spaceport area. Space Shuttle Max is an inverted, boomerang roller coaster. This minute and a half ride will take you to a height of 35 metres (116 feet) at speeds of up to 76 kmph (47 mph).
If such an adrenaline rush is not really your speed, take a walk over to the Brooklyn Place section. Designed to resemble 1940s Brooklyn, New York, guests can catch a showing at the Rialto Theatre, a motion simulator theater.
