Europa Park is the largest theme park in Germany. It was originally started as a showplace for an amusement ride company.
Blue Fire is the newest roller coaster in the park. It picks up on a couple of the latest trends in the coaster world, one of which has trains travelling through a short, dark ride right at the beginning. Another is that the train is launched, so that riders reach high speeds very quickly at the outset. An interesting fact is that, although Blue Fire is the park’s tenth coaster, it is the first one with inversions.
A popular show here is called The Devil and the Queen. Full of Spanish flair, this show features brave knights who joust their way through their quest to conquer evil. There are lots of aerial acrobatics, as well as other types of stunts. Mostly a dramatic affair, this show also contains enough comedy to stay light. This all takes place as the story is told of a man who sold his sole to the devil to become a king.
