Seoul, South Korea
Everland is South Korea’s largest theme park. In 2007, it was the tenth most attended theme park in the world.
Together with its other main attractions, Everland offers a zoo as well as a water park named Caribbean Bay.
The park is divided into five distinct areas: Magic Land, European Adventure, American Adventure, Zoo-Topia and Global Fair.
Everland’s wooden roller coaster, named T Express, is notable for several reasons. Having been opened in 2006, it has the steepest drop of any wooden coaster in the world at 77 degrees. Additionally, it is the sixth longest roller coaster on the globe and certainly the largest in South Korea. It also has a rather long ride duration of three minutes.
Guests of all ages can enjoy Zoo-Topia, an animal-themed section of the park. There is a full zoo as well as a petting zoo, but visitors line up to ride the safari bus ride. This bus ride takes passengers past ligers and bears, but all are safe behind cages.
To cool off, get on the Amazon Express. A river raft ride, you cannot ever be sure how wet you may be when you exit the ride!
