User Rating     : 5 out of 5

The grand old Golden Gate Park in San Francisco sprawls over more than 1,000 acres Highlights include the Botanical Garden, the Japanese Tea Garden, the Tulip and Rose Gardens, the Shakespeare’s Flowers Garden, the real live buffalo paddock, the windmill, children’s playground, the Conservatory of Flowers, the Strawberry Hill island in the middle of a lake, and the world renowned De Young Art Museum. One of the nicest treats is the Beach Chalet, a Spanish style building with gift shop, restaurants with views of the water, and a bar. On Sundays at The Golden Gate Park, beginning at 1 p.m., there are free concerts. The music ranges from folk music, ethnic music, Broadway tunes, marches, or classical. Bring a blanket or seat and enjoy!

  1. Don't Miss Stunning Stow Lake! 5 out of 5

If you're in the Golden Gate Park, I can't recommend Stow Lake enough. It's beautiful! You can hire rowing boats and take your time meandering around the lake, admiring the moon watching pavilion which was gifted to San Francisco from Taiwan, and of course watching the Huntington Falls waterfall as it cascades into the lake beside you.
