Sao Paulo, Brazil
A medium-sized amusement park in São Paulo, Brazil, Hopi Hari has been open since 1999. Comparable in size to the Six Flags parks, Hopi Hari offers less thrill rides. It is divided into five distinct regions, the largest of which is themed around Native Central America, particularly the Mayans and Aztecs, while others are European-themed or designed like the ‘Old West’.
The Montezum is a wooden roller coaster that is considered to be the greatest roller coaster in Latin America. Speeds exceed 103 kmph (64 mph) and the ride’s duration clocks in at just under a minute. During a special season each year, one of the ride’s trains moves backwards, which is then called Direversi.
For those who prefer shows, Hopi Hari has a good choice. Shows, musicals and events include Pinocchio and the Wizard of Oz. Guests will enjoy the colourful, engaging shows as a nice change of pace from riding various attractions.
For visitors who are in search of a scare, the haunted house attraction is fantastic. Different from many other rides of this sort, this attraction is a replica of an Egyptian temple.
