Horta Museum

Brussels, Belgium

User Rating     : 4 out of 5

For the fans of Art Nouveau, this stunning museum is situated in a house that Victor Horta designed and built.  Be sure before leaving to get proper directions or you will end up wondering aimlessly around town as there are no signs pointing out the museums location. The house itself is quite small and only a small group of sightseers are allowed to tour at the same time. We showed up in the morning and got right in, but I can imagine in the up season for tourism it can get quite busy here. The attention to detail in the home is jaw dropping and the genius of Horta is displayed in all its glory. It is a place unlike and I have seen and you get an up close and personal look that you miss in many other grand attractions in this part of the world. A must see when in Brussels.
