Jackson, Wyoming Mountain Biking

Jackson, Wyoming, United States of America

If you are ready to give some exquisite, alpine singletrack a go in one of the most ridiculously lovely places in the world, book your ticket now for Jackson, Wyoming.

‘Jackson Hole’, as it is also known, is best celebrated for its phenomenal, champagne powder snow; often over 13 metres (41.6 feet) deep every winter. In summer, tourists flock to Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park via Jackson Hole, bypassing some of the world’s best mountain bike riding.

Mountain biking is not permitted in the national parks themselves, but is allowed in almost all of the national forest areas in the valley. Nearly all the trails available are true singletrack, with the occasional doubletrack as connector trails.

Riding directly from Jackson’s town centre, access an entire network of trails that runs for miles and allows for long distance trail connections far into the backcountry. Ride the Cache Creek Trail system or challenge yourself on the slopes of Snow King with a vertical gain of 479 metres (1,571 feet) in 2.4 kilometres (1.5 miles).

Once the snow melts, explore the excellent trails on the flanks of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort or flow through its mountain biking terrain park.
