In the Blue Mountains of Australia is a famous tourist attraction, the Jenolan Caves. With eleven show caves to explore, as well as underground rivers and pools, tourists can spend hours looking around Jenolan Caves. See giant limestone formations in the caves as you travel through along the walkways. The caves also have dogtooth spar crystal displays to view.

There are a plethora of tours to choose from at Jenolan Caves, from the one hour tour of the Imperial Cave to a special adventure tour that lasts six hours and has visitors wearing helmets as they explore the Mammoth Cave. If you don’t want to join a group and would prefer to go along at your own pace, there are self-guided tours, including one with commentary in the Star Trek language of Klingon.

The Jenolan Caves have been a tourist destination for more than a century, over the years new caves have been discovered and it is expected that more could be found. There is a gift shop located at Jenolan Caves and food and accommodation is available. Around three hours by car, to the west of Sydney, the Jenolan Caves are located on Jenolan Caves Road.
