Kennywood is a classic, all-American amusement park located in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, which is a suburb of Pittsburgh.
Almost any type of theme park attraction you can imagine is represented here, including a fantastic dark ride called Ghostwood Estate. You begin standing in the library of an old mansion, where you discover that your mission is to rid the home of the ghosts which inhabit it. Your ‘ghost buggy’ (ride vehicle) comes equipped with a ‘ghost blaster’ (laser gun) to aid you in your quest. The animatronics combine with computer-generated, special effects to create a truly immersing experience for park-goers.
One of the shows at Kennywood is called Cirque Rocks. It is a combination of traditional circus-style entertainment and what else but rock and roll! The act even features an aerial drummer.
Another show here is called Win It! Taking its lead from the similarly-named television game show, this event invites guests to attempt to win fabulous prizes by completing various challenges using household objects.
