Mexico City, Mexico
La Feria Chapultepec Magico is operated by the Mexican government. One of the most famous roller coasters there is called the Cascabel, which is a “steel shuttle” coaster that has been in operation in this Mexico City park since 1991. Prior to that, it was located at Kennywood, an amusement park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Back then, it was known as Laser Loop. At the time, it was Kennywood’s only looping coaster and was originally built by Anton Schwarzkopf. Although there is only one inversion along the track, the rest of the ride is still sufficient to leave most riders breathless.
Montana Infinitum is another steel roller coaster in this park. This was actually the first roller coaster ever built anywhere in the world that had three loops. Before its current name, it was called both Triple Loop Coaster and Magnum Force.
Montana Rusa rounds out the lineup of steel coasters at La Feria Chapultepec Magico.
Some other thrill rides here are called Aladino, Batidora and Nao De China. The park also has a wooden roller coaster.
