Lake Compounce is the United States of America’s oldest, continuously operating amusement park, and it has not lost any of its charm. Further, the admission price includes access to both a beach and a water park!
The water park has it all, from a wave pool to a lazy river, to every kind of water slide you could wish for. When it comes to more traditional amusement park rides, there is no shortage of fun in that department, either. For starters, there is the Boulderdash, which has been voted as the top wooden roller coaster in the world. It reaches speeds in excess of 96 kmph (60 mph).
In addition to the water park rides and amusement park rides, there are some great live entertainment offerings at Lake Compounce, one of which is called Secrets: Beyond the Magic. It is a contemporary magic show in which the magician tells of some of the secrets of the craft. However, you will still leave the show more amazed than ever. It is a must-see attraction which will absolutely delight every member of your family.
