Living Desert & Sculptures

Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia

Just 9 kms from the town of Broken Hill, the Living Desert Reserve is in the Barrier Ranges. Covering 2,400 hectares, there are amazing walking trails where you will see natural wonders. The Living Desert Flora and Fauna Sanctuary is 180 ha which is enclosed by an electric fence to protect against predators. There are many wonderful sculptures here as well. Picnic areas with free gas barbecues, toilet facilities and shade make this a great place for the family. Reviewer: Paula Duggan
