Loch Ness

Loch Ness

Inverness, Loch Ness, United Kingdom

Loch Ness is possibly the world’s most famous lake. It is 23 miles long and is home to the mythical Loch Ness Monster, which is said to dwell in the loch. There have been a great number of sightings, which does lend credence to the possibility that there may be a group of surviving plesiosaurs (which were on Earth around 65 million years ago and are now thought to be extinct).
