Mirabilandia is an Italian theme park that happens to be home to Europe’s second tallest ferris wheel. It is also home to some thrilling rides, including an inverted roller coaster, Katun, and a launched coaster, iSpeed. A launched coaster is exactly what it sounds like: Riders are launched (hence the name) to a very fast speed, very quickly. Usually, these rides do not slow down until they are over. The iSpeed is no exception in this regard. In this case, the top speed is nearly 120 kmph (75 mph)! What is more, the maximum height is almost 61 metres (200 feet).
The shows at Mirabilandia are nothing short of spectacular. One of them is a movie-set, stunt show. The professional drivers in this show do some really amazing acrobatics. There are tons of explosions and the same emotions are evoked that you would experience if you were watching an action movie.
There is also a great night show which features lasers that project a series of a beautiful images onto a gigantic screen of water.
