Rising up in the hinterland behind Nowra is Mount Cambewarra. Drive up the winding round lined with lush forest to lookout. Here you will witness magnificent views of the Shoalhaven region, from Coolangatta Mountain in the north to Pigeon House Mountain in the south and out to the coast where you will see Point Perpendicular and Jervis Bay. The birdlife here is amazing and, in the evenings, you may even see a wombat. The Lookout Restaurant serves takeaway food, as well as eat-in meals and light snacks.
