This is quite the zoo, unlike any I have ever seen. Although I do not frequent zoo’s in many of the places I visit I was told this one was great and that it would make for a great group outing for the day. This was spot on, as our group wandered the museum for over 4 hours. The time flew by as there is so much to see here and the individual spaces for the animals felt very natural. The cost of entry was a mere 9 Euro’s and this was well worth it as the experience of attending such a nice zoo in a foreign country was a real good time. As with many popular attractions, I would recommend getting here early to avoid the droves of traffic that are so common. Still there was plenty of space and it didn’t ever feel crowded when we visited. You can hop around all of the Alt beer pubs you want, but be sure to stop in here before leaving Munich as it is a great attraction.
