Grandly situated in the historic port of Palermo in Sicily, the Palazzo dei Normanni & Capella Palatina serve as a main tourist attraction in the city. Many would argue that this is the top attraction on the entire island. The attraction is very well run and taken care of and has been restored extremely well. It can be quite a touristy site, so be prepared for long lines and it is best to get here early. It isn’t hard to find, located nearby the Plaza Indipendenzia in Palermo, and guides speaking many different languages can easily be found for guided tours.
