London, United Kingdom
It’s astounding that the RAF Museum London can contain such a large number of aircraft without a single runway in sight! That’s because the museum is housed on the former site of Hendon Aerodrome, which was eventually removed in 1957. Several buildings now contain a number of permanent exhibitions detailing the Royal Air Force’s fine history. There’s another great thing about the RAF Museum London, too. It’s free!
