Science Museum

I know that, as a parent, I am meant to encourage my child to patiently wind through every exhibit, read the accompanying signage or look at the corresponding diagrams, but, in the case of the Science Museum, the truth is this: We go directly to whatever the temporary exhibit is, give it a cursory glance, then run straight to the back of the museum to where the fun stuff is! We usually start with Launchpad, move on to the 3-D flight simulation of Fly-Zone, then continue back to the Legends of Apollo movement and movie experience—although we’ve seen it at least ten times—and then end our day with whatever is playing at the Imax 3-D, followed by a stop in the gift shop. As is now our Christmas tradition, we always go to see ‘Santa Versus the Snowman’ in the Imax and I suggest it to every parent I know. Reviewer: Meg
