SeaWorld San Antonio, just like its Orlando and San Diego counterparts, is filled with exhibits, rides and shows designed to make park guests feel as if they are experiencing a genuine ocean adventure.
One of the rides, which seems to captivate people of all ages, is called Journey to Atlantis. It is part roller coaster and part water ride. At the top of the first hill, the boat you are in rotates a full 360 degrees. After that, there is a reverse camel-back. The ride concludes with a 10-storey drop into a lake. Rest easy, though, there are some milder experiences offered as well!
One of those milder, but wonderfully, exciting experiences is an award-winning show called Azul. Billed as “a celebration of sea and sky”, this show features both human acrobats and marine life. Some of the species that perform in the show are beluga whales and white-sided dolphins.
Among the exhibits featured in the park is the delightful Penguin Encounter. As it is so cold inside this exhibit, you are transported through it by a moving walkway.
