Sesame Place theme park is exactly what it sounds like—a theme park dedicated to the television world of Sesame Street. It is an ideal attraction for both the young and the young at heart.
There are two different types of attractions at Sesame Place, separately categorised “dry fun” and “wet fun”. The names of some of the dry fun attractions are Snuffy’s Slide, Big Bird’s Balloon Race and Sesame Street Neighborhood. The last of these is a life-sized recreation of the classic television set. You will feel as though you have stepped right on to that famous thoroughfare!
There are lots of great live shows too, for example, Elmo Rocks, Abby Cadabby’s Treasure Hunt and Elmo’s World Live Show. Most spectacular of all, however, is the Neighborhood Street Party Parade. You can actually get out onto the street and dance with all of your favourite characters while you learn about letters, numbers and friendship. There are three performances during the parade and 11 massive floats.
