The Shuttleworth Collection is an aeroplane museum located just outside Bedford at the Old Warden airfield. It contains a vast number of vintage aircraft and was founded in 1928. The collection is home to 3,000 volunteers as well as the Bleriot XI, which dates back to 1909 – barely six years after the first ever manned flight. It is the world’s oldest aircraft which still flies. Reviewer: Adam Croft
