Largo Maryland’s Six Flags America is one of the hidden gems amongst this company’s stellar line-up of world class amusement parks. Similar to its sister parks, there are no shortage of thrills here. There are, of course, a number of family attractions in this park that deserve special mention, too.
On the ride called Shipwreck Falls, you can count on getting very, very wet. In fact, if you stand on what is called the Observation Bridge, you will get even wetter! After making its ascent, your craft is sent plummeting into the lagoon below, generating a massive wave which drenches everyone in its path.
One of the most innovative live shows here is based on the popular television reality shows, Survivor. Survivor Live affords you the opportunity to outwit, outplay and outlast your friends and family every day except Wednesdays. This interactive experience features elaborate staging and costumes, and even includes the opportunity to win tickets to the season finale of the television show in New York City!
