Texas is one state fortunate enough to be home to no less than two Six Flags amusement parks. One of these two parks is called Six Flags Fiesta Texas and it boasts more than 809 square metres (200 acres) of adrenaline pumping fun.
On the action or thrill side of things, if you really want to get your juices flowing, then hop on board the Poltergeist. According to its own advertising, this ride will turn you into a “human cannonball”. In addition to the fact that it takes you from zero to 96 kmph (60 mph) in just over three seconds, its track features one of the most intricate layouts in the park.
Even compared to other parks owned by this company, Six Flags Fiesta Texas seems to do live entertainment particularly well. It is true what they say, “Everything’s bigger in Texas”! Perhaps nowhere in this park is that more true than in Lone Star Nights, their new night-time, outdoor show. It makes use of the latest technology in the fields of laser projection and pyrotechnics to create one of the most spectacular shows of its kind.
