Mexico City, Mexico
Six Flags Mexico is the only park this company owns which is outside of the United States. It is the largest theme park in Latin America. The movie Free Willy was filmed in this park, which resulted in animal rights’ groups pressuring the park to actually liberate their signature killer whale.
The Dark Knight roller coaster is the park’s latest thrill ride, and one attraction which is newer still is a laser tag complex based on the Terminator movies. There are plenty of other types of rides, too, including Wild River, a raft ride, and a haunted house attraction.
In short, any type of attraction found in Six Flags Mexico’s American counterparts can be found here as well, and more besides. For example, at night, the park boasts an absolutely spectacular Magic Light Parade. There is also a great kiddies’ ride for younger guests which is called Bugs Bunny’s Circus.
Among the rides in this section of the park are such fun activities for the little ones as Elmer’s Balloon and Road Runner’s Convoy.
