Six Flags New England

User Rating     : 5 out of 5

Six Flags New England keeps the standard of theme park fun high in this elegant part of the United States.

Without a doubt, this park’s claim to fame is Bizarro (formerly known as Superman), which has been voted the number one steel roller coaster ride many times by various theme park magazines. Fog, pyrotechnics and stunning audio combine with the ride itself to create a truly unforgettable experience. The ride tops out at 124 kmph (77 mph) and winds its way through two dark tunnels. Its twisted track visually resembles a bowl of spaghetti, which makes for a truly heart-pounding adventure.

Although rides like Bizarro certainly are not for the faint hearted, there are other, tamer options as well, not to mention some great live shows.

Musically speaking, one of the park’s most exciting performances is called Vocal Acceleration. Actually an a cappella group, this ensemble is nothing short of amazing. In addition to outstanding harmonies, their vocal percussion skills have to be heard to be believed.

  1. So much to do. Something for everyone. 5 out of 5

If you are visiting Boston or New England, you can get to this amazing amusement park very easily. Six Flags has some wild rides and roller coasters! Loads of them! Once they strap you in, hold on! There are also tea cups, bumper cars, and a water park to get wet and wild in. But that's not all. There are great family shows, interactive dance contests, singing contests, a summer and fall concert series and special events to raise money for charity. But that's not all. The water park is as much fun as the amusement park. You can swim, slide down unbelievably tall water slides, and rent a cabana with its own refrigerator and lounge chairs that accommodates 6 people. Six Flags also has tons of restaurants and food stalls serving up hot dogs, hamburgers, Chinese food, Mexican food, ice cream, seafood, and more. Opening day is in April and it closes in the Fall.
