Six Flags St Louis is the newest theme park officially opened under the Six Flags brand. It includes Hurricane Harbor, a water park. Like the other Six Flags parks, this one specialises in thrill rides.
One of those thrill rides is called Mr Freeze, a steel roller coaster that is actually powered by electromagnetism! Due to this, riders can be initially launched from zero to a stunning 112 kmph (70 mph) in less than four seconds! The ride’s elevation is over 22.5 stories. What’s more, just when you think the ride is over, you get to do it all again.
One popular family ride here is their whitewater rafting ride, which is called Thunder River. This is a popular type of ride in many parks, on which passengers board a round raft as they float along a less-than-peaceful river. This particular version is over 457 metres (1,500 feet) long and reaches speeds that top 40 kmph (25 mph).
The shows here mainly centre on country and rock music, and there is a kids’ show featuring Loony Tunes characters.
