Located in the Tahune Forest Reserve, this AirWalk was first opened in 2001 and has won numerous awards for its environmental performance and visitor centre. Billed as the longest and highest forest canopy walk in the world, the structure is 48 metres above the forest floor, at its highest point, and features a path that is suspended in mid-air, high above the converging rivers. As well as the Airwalk, there are also two walking tracks that you can follow through the forest, one of which features swing bridges that cross high above the rushing river. Trust me when I say that this tourist attraction is not for the faint-hearted, nor those who are scared of heights! But, having said that, the surrounding scenery is quite stunning and it would be a shame to miss out on seeing all of the forest’s natural beauty. Reviewer: Catherine Van Bergen
