The adage "if you cannot say anything nice, then do not say anything at all" comes to mind every time I think of my torturous experience at the Tate Modern. I am afraid I am one of those who feels that much of what is on display is not art, and that it is a true shame—if not a travesty—that an estimated 75% of the museum's art collection is in storage underground.
A great deal of which, I must admit, are works that I believe are actually art. The building itself is not bad, but I loathe the dreadfully tourist locale that makes it feel like the McDonalds of the art world. I simply like nothing about it.

Not my cup of tea
