The Magic Kingdom

Orlando, Florida, United States of America

User Rating     : 5 out of 5

The Magic Kingdom is the name of multiple Disney theme parks in multiple locations around the world. The one in Orlando, Florida, was the first one to actually bear that name. The one in Anaheim, California, was, at first, simply referred to as Disneyland.

Orlando’s Magic Kingdom is considered by many to be among the most enchanting theme parks in the world. It is divided into seven distinct ‘lands’, each with its own distinct focus. The majority of the rides are of the family-friendly variety, which means they can be enjoyed by guests of all ages.

While there are traditional stage shows to take pleasure in, the real highlights of entertainment in this park are the parades and fireworks. There are two parades: one during the day and one at night. The night-time parade features whimsical floats that are brilliantly illuminated. The fireworks are great, too. While other theme parks feature nightly fireworks shows, the one here is generally recognised as the most spectacular.

  1. The Magic of the Magic Kingdom is Ageless! 5 out of 5

If I could give the Magic Kingdom 6 stars I would. I went there not as a child, or even with children, and I was completely captivated by the park. There is something magical about this particular park. Even kids who were standing for quite some time to get on a popular ride such as the Pirates of the Caribbean didn't whine, they just stood patiently and enthusiastically waiting. Don't be put off by the fact it's mainly promoted to young kids, the Magic Kingdom's a magical place to explore whatever age you are!
