Vaucluse House

Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

Vaucluse House – Set on 28 acres in the harbourside suburb of Vaucluse this mansion was once owned by William Charles Wentworth (1790-1872). See the formal gardens, manicured grounds, stables and outbuildings and enjoy the amazing period furnishings. Now managed by the Historic Homes Trust of NSW it is open to the public as a museum Wed – Sun 10am-4.30 pm and every day during school holidays. Reviewer: Paula Duggan
