Waimea Canyon

Kauai, Hawaii, United States of America

Mark Twain called Waimea Canyon the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific”, and you can easily see why when you get there. It is breathtaking. Its dimensions: 10 miles long, 1 mile wide, 3,600 feet depth. It is so majestic and big that it just amazes people when they see it. It has some spectacular waterfalls you can hike to. You can also drive around if you are adventurous but make sure to go slow on the steep windy roads. When you reach the top, you will have the most amazing views. Look for the birds flying below you! One of the most stunning ways to view its natural beauty is to book a helicopter tour. You’ll remember it always.
