Australian Woolshed

Australian Woolshed

The Australian Woolshed is located fourteen kilometres from the heart of Brisbane. The Woolshed is open seven days a week and only closed on Christmas Day and the morning of Anzac Day. The Woolshed is a park that provides entertainment in the forms of animal shows, bush dances, barbeque facilities and dinners, picnic areas, mini golf and water slides.

The setting is that of an old outback sheep station and is home of an animal farm that provides a sanctuary for koalas and other animals native to Australia. Visitors may feed the tamed kangaroos and wallabies and observe emus strutting around the water features and open land.

Families are often seen frequenting the park located in the Samford Valley. Waterslides are open during the summer season and trained life guards are staffed throughout the venue. A nine-hold mini golf course is also available. The course has been resurfaced and sits among tropical landscape and lush green shrubbery.

To satisfy hungry guests, the Australian Woolshed offers the Woolshed Dining Hall and Wattleseed Café. Both are open during the operating hours of the park. Visitors may choose from a la carte to a full Aussie breakfast. Special dietary requests and group seating is available upon request. 148 Samford Road, Ferny Hills, Brisbane
