Barcelona shore excursions

Barcelona is a popular place for joining a Spanish cruise, and this Mediterranean Port offers a wealth of things to do and see, whether just starting or finishing their cruise holiday.

‘Must see’ attractions include the Gaudi buildings, and renowned shop and restaurant lined avenue, Las Rambas, which leads directly from the port and one of the better places to take in some of the many Barcelona restaurants.

Port Vell has its own shopping mall – the Maremagnum, as well as an aquarium– perfect for cruisers with little time for sightseeing. Barcelona deserves at least a full day’s tour and visitors are recommended to see La Sagrada Familla church, the medieval Barrio Gothic quarter, the Picasso Museum and -for sports fans – the Nou Camp Stadium. Montjuic is in an elevated spot which provides spectacular views over Barcelona and offers great photo opportunities. Tours to the 11th century Benedictine Monserrat Monastery, or the seaside resort of Sitges can also be arranged from Barcelona Port.
