The family friendly suburb of Bulimba is approximately five kilometres from Brisbane’s Central Business District or CBD. It is a riverside suburb that lies along the bank of the Brisbane River. Oxford Street is the main thoroughfare of the suburb and is full of fine restaurants and cafes. Ferry terminals at the end of the street bring in crowds to the Bulimba Precinct looking to spend the day shopping in the unique area.

Apollo Road offers another ferry terminal that provides convenient access to across the river to a hotspot for restaurants, bars and movie theatres. Eagle Farm is just a short stroll away from the ferry exit.

One of the most notable areas of Bulimba is the Bulimba Memorial Park that acts as a memorial to those who participated in and gave their lives during World War I. The park offers community activities and plenty of recreational opportunities. Green space offers ample places to kick the ball and watch the kids and dogs run around.

Vic Lucas Park on the Brisbane River has picnic spots and outdoor activities.

Bulimba’s quaint charm offers some of the finest restaurants and bars in the city. Some of the most popular places to dine and wine are the Jetty and Scales & Ales. The Jetty is a waterfront restaurant that is known for its beautiful scenery and delicious meals. Scales & Ales is a gourmet fish bar situated along Oxford Street.
