Mount Kilimanjaro offers you the best trekking challenge you can ever get. It is the fourth highest peak in the world approximately rising to over 4600m from its base to 5,895m making it the tallest peak in the continent of Africa. Kibo, Shira and Mawenzi are three inactive volcanoes located on Mount Kilimanjaro. Absolutely stunning and breathtaking view can be seen from the summit of the mountain. Almost all climates can be experienced by the trekkers because of the elevation and geography of the mount. Approximately 753 square kilometers of forest land is present on top of the mountain and it is regarded as UNESCO world heritage site.

There are different routes which can lead you to the summit of the mountain. If you want to experience thrill and adventure while trekking then the best route to the summit would be through Machame. This route has some wonderful scenery to its credit and it also offers you a perfect challenge because of its steeper route. There are several other routes through which you can reach to the summit Rongai, Umbwe, Marangu, Shira, and Lemosho.

Some of these routes are very busy and others offer you hassle free trek. Government of Tanzania has taken several measures to make your trip a perfect one. Always make sure that you consult your trekking guide for more information. Some scientists around the world say that ice caps on top of the mountain would be no more after 2020. It would be better to book your trip to Tanzania before it is too late.

Vodacom offers GSM mobile phone network on top of the mount. The best months to climb Mount Kilimanjaro would be January to mid March and from June to October. The obvious logic is it is too difficult and less rewarding to climb the mount on rainy season and too cold to climb in the months of December. Make sure that you have filled all your insurance documents before the climb. It takes almost five to six days for you to reach the summit of the mount, make sure that you carry enough medical and camping equipment before your adventurous climb. Some of the essentials that you need to carry during your trek are Sleeping bag with mat, Insulated water bottle preferably army make, Sunscreen to shield you from sun preferably high factor one, Sunglasses (very important), medical baggage, and essential clothing are must.

Also keep some dollars with you for tipping and emergency. It is always desirable to book a reputable agency before climbing up the mount. Fitness is really important before you start the climb makes sure you are physically fit before your climb. All set you can go for that perfect climb.
