Great Wall of China

Mutianyu Great Wall of China Photos

If you are looking to experience the Great Wall of China, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, why not do it with a more naturalistic feel and a lot less crowds?  Venture a bit further from Beijing and you will find the Mutianyu section of the Wall.  It is a bit steeper to climb, so you should be in relatively good shape, but the views and the history of the Great Wall are more apparent.  Plus, as an added bonus, you can take a toboggan ride down!

Simply stunning! Somewhere well worth visiting, especially when you consider that the Great Wall of China can be seen from outer space!

    Definitely on my wish list!!

    Thanks for the fabulous photos.
