Overland Track

Walk the Overland Track from Cradle Mountain to Lake St Clair. A well-marked trail with huts and easy to do as a self-guided Tasmania adventure.  The walk normally takes 6 days but can be shorter so perfect for a week-long Tasmania Adventure. The Overland Track is reckoned to be one of the best long-distance walks in the world and often the first multi day hike many do.

Maydena Bike Park

Tasmania has the best mountain biking in Australia and now one of the world’s best mountain bike parks at Maydena. The trails having long descents and designed for all levels. There is an uplift service so need to climb the mountain. Maydena Bike Park is expanding fast and each month opens new trails with the aim to the best mountain bike in the world.

Kayak on the Derwent River. A perfect river for a Tasmania adventure where you kayak from Bushy Park down the river towards New Norfolk. The rapids are suitable for beginners and provide interest for those with more experience.

Walk or cycle from the top of Tasmania to the south following the Tasmanian trail. An excellent soft Tasmania adventure where you are in remote and quiet rural areas but with places to stay and camp. The full trail is 480 kilometres longer but sections can be done.

Walk the Tarn Shelf

One of the best day walks in the world for your Tasmania adventure is the Tarn Shelf at Mt Field National Park and takes around 5 -6 hours.

South Coast Track

For those wanting a more serious Tasmania adventure walk the South Coast Track. This ambitious walk takes 9 days and takes you along the coast from Melaleuca to Cockle Creek.There are no huts but campsites along the route. You have to fly to Melaleuca to start, from Cambridge airport.

Frenchmans Cap

Frenchmans Cap is a wonderful 46 km walk that takes 3 or 4 days and served by huts and a good trail. Located between Derwent Bridge and Queenstown.

Port Davey Track

A tough Tasmania adventure. The Port Davey track connects with the start of the South Coast Track taking around 4 days.
