Gaborone

Travel to Gaborone, the capital city of Botswana, to experience a modern city that has wildlife next to it and is also in the country that has the Kalahari Desert. Very close to the city is Mokolodi Nature Reserve. This park is a place for tourists to go so they can see wild animals up close and in their natural setting. Elephants, cheetahs, ostriches, rhinoceros and giraffes are some of the animals that live there. The Kalahari Desert, as seen in the famous movie The Gods Must Be Crazy, is a famous location for tourists to visit and many start their trip to it from Gaborone.
